Below you will find our adoption application, contract, agreement that can be downloaded and saved to your computer as well as reviewed, filled out, and emailed back to us. This adoption application, contract, agreement is applicable for both the adoption of a puppy or an adult dog from Reading Retrievers.
At times, we are able to offer adult dogs to new homes and families. Reasons adult dogs may become available for adoption varies and range from a dog being retired from our breeding program, a dog that was found not suitable for breeding, a rescue dog, a puppy who we adopted out but was later returned, and the list goes on.
Adopting an adult dog has many advantages: they are already spayed / neutered, they are already crate trained / house trained, they already know basic obedience and manners, and they are already fully vaccinated and microchipped.
At this time, we do not have any adult Golden Retrievers available for adoption. The earliest we may have availability is the Summer of 2025.
